Consulting – Consulted with clients such as Abbott Point of Care, Varian, EDS, American Electric Power, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, ExxonMobil, Moog, Accelrys, Covance, US Department of Commerce/NOAA, Fairfax County Public Schools concerning design and implementation strategies for major reorganizations, particularly matrix structures at organizations. Performed customer satisfaction research and analysis to recommend strategies and tactics for breakthrough customer service results.

Facilitation – Facilitated ground-breaking strategic planning, executive problem-solving and teambuilding sessions for private businesses, including biotech, information technology, telecommunications, manufacturing and more as well as at federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security. In the nonprofit arena, he has specialized in assisting associations and other organizations such as those serving the visually impaired.

Survey Services – Designed and managed implementation of a major survey of federal agencies for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and an agency-wide customer satisfaction survey for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Training – Designed training curriculum for a variety of clients for their use and use by their strategic partners, e.g., Harley Davidson Financial Services, Inc., Pfizer, American Electric Power, Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies, Orion Consulting Group, Inc., etc. Customized and delivered customer service training for U.S. Department of Justice, Comstock Homes, and more. Delivered scores of mentoring training sessions for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Scientific Design Company, Inc., Ingersoll-Rand and more.

Coaching – Provided confidential executive coaching to dozens of public and private sector executives to help them increase their effectiveness in working with challenging groups and individuals.

Product & Training Materials Development – Conceptualized and developed innovative products including seminars, videos, training materials and written publications to support activities described above. Provided executive coaching to leaders in government and private business. Authored the How to Workbook for Federal Strategic Planning (a Strategic Futures® publication), the matrix management booklet information series, Achieving Excellence in Customer Service training materials, and Mentoring and Coaching materials.
